Lloyd Barde has been immersed in music for over 50 years, as a record store owner, distributor, record label and catalog creator. Lloyd also has an instinctive gift for providing music for creative movement, dance & healing. He has been a radio host on Pacifica Radio/KPFA, Public radio KGNU in Boulder, and KSKQ in Ashland, Oregon where he currently resides. As DJ Heartbeat, he brings an exquisite depth of knowledge and presence to his work as Movement Wizard, playing music that invites the body to move and inspires the heart to soar. Lloyd has also produced and presented more than 250 concerts and Summer festivals in the past 15 years, from DEVA PREMAL & Miten to Jennifer Berezan, Donna DeLory, Tina Malia, Jai Uttal, Elijah Ray, Snatam Kaur, R. Cartlos Nakai, Olox, Adey Bell, Simrit and countless others.
