Margo Hall

Margo Hall- actor/director/playwright/educator. Margo has directed and performed on stages throughout the Bay Area and has toured France with the Theater Company Word-for-Word. She is a founding member of Campo Santo, a multi-cultural theater company, where she has directed, performed, and collaborated on several new plays with artists such as Naomi Iizuka, Jessica Hagedorn, Phillip Kan Gotanda, and Octavio Solis. She recently premiered her semi-biographical piece, Be Bop Baby, a Musical Memoir at Z Space in San Francisco, chronicling her life growing up with her Jazz musician stepfather who was with Motown. lyrics and book by Margo hall, Music by Marcus Shelby. Currently, she is co-producing a podcast about the Feminist Movement from a Black POV and just launched a GoFundMe campaign to fund all Black Theaters across the US. Margo also teaches Theater at UC Berkeley and Chabot Community College.
