36 years ago I could not have imagined the journey I would take throughout my adult life to Transform Lives Through Music for the Bay Area and beyond. The positive impact, joy, creativity, inspiration and community that resulted from our programs and continues to this day for elementary age children through seniors provides a clear pathway towards the future of Living Jazz and our legacy. This work is a constant reminder of how the arts and culture have always been and will continue to be the singular thread throughout history that draws all people together, no matter their differences or perspectives, to experience a shared community infused with respect, with gratitude, with joy, with depth, and with hope.
